DCL is now carbon-friendly with EKOS Driving Emission Offset
We did something super important recently – we became carbon-friendly drivers by offsetting our driving emissions for 107,000 km last financial year. We did this with efficient planning, doing the job once with no resurvey, and keep our vehicles well maintained for efficient operations.
We achieved this milestone by investing in EKOS. EKOS grows and protects indigenous forests delivering sustainable development outcomes in rural communities in Aotearoa and the Pacific Islands.
We will move towards more sustainable hybrid or EV vehicle options in the future. In the meantime, we continue to improve our operations to better this carbon friendly journey.
